Jonas Khalil

Born in the Stuttgart area, the yong musician started his guitarist education at the University of Music in Karlsruhe, studying with Prof. Boris Bagger. After receiving his diploma he continued his artistic development at the Akademie für Tonkunst Darmstadt with Prof. Olaf Van Gonnissen, finishing his degree in late 2013. He then moved on to be a part of the class of Prof. Johannes Monno at the University of Music in Stuttgart, receiving a Master´s degree in 2016. Continuing studies lead him to Salzburg, where he concludes his education with Prof. Laura Young at the renowned Mozarteum.

​Furthermore, he has been working in several orchestras playing the guitarpart of various musicals and operas such as Wozzeck", West Side Story", "The coronation of Poppea", just to name a few. Apart from his solo career he also is a very enthusiastic chamber musician (forming "Duo GaJo" with cellist Gabriel Faur) and has been the main songwriter for the band "SACRED STEEL" for more than a decade.
